The Brief
Warner Music UK brought in Sonicular to define the full sonic identity for Dig!- their content platform celebrating legendary artists, stories, and cultural moments from across the Warner catalogue.
The brief was to create a unified and recognisable audio world that felt timeless yet fresh, editorially versatile, and emotionally resonant.
Our scope covered the entire sonic branding process- from music production, sound design, and sonic logo creation, to voiceover casting, recording, and podcast post-production.

Sonic Branding Approach
We approached the project as a cohesive sonic branding system- ensuring every sound element worked together to reflect Dig!’s identity.
This included sourcing and directing the right voiceover talent to match the tone: warm, knowledgeable, and accessible.
The VO became a core part of the brand’s sonic personality, used across podcast episodes, trailers, and video content.
We also composed a batch of bespoke music tracks tailored to Dig!’s emotional tone- blending soulful harmony, vintage textures, and clean modern production.
These tracks formed a consistent musical thread across the platform- emotionally anchoring trailers, intros, outros, and editorial content with a sense of character and cohesion.

Sound Design & Audio Production
To complement the VO and music, we crafted a set of custom sound design elements and a distinctive sonic logo- a short, memorable audio signature that brings instant recognition across all content touchpoints.
Sonicular also handled the entire podcast post-production workflow: editing, mixing, and mastering every episode to broadcast standard.
The result is a polished, consistent, and recognisable audio experience that brings Dig!’s stories to life- tying together heritage and modernity through a carefully curated sonic brand.
