THE OTHER SIDE OF PARADISE
Sonicular provided bespoke sound design for The Other Side of Paradise, a short documentary directed by Elliott Watson.
The film follows Tymour Fathi, a refugee forced to leave his home and rebuild his life in an unfamiliar country, exploring themes of displacement, identity, and belonging.
Through carefully crafted sound design, we helped support the film's emotional storytelling, creating an immersive sonic landscape that enhanced both the intimacy of Tymour's personal journey and the wider themes at the heart of the documentary.
Following a successful international festival run, The Other Side of Paradise was selected for multiple BAFTA-qualifying festivals and was later acquired by WaterBear for global streaming distribution.
